I am a huge fan of Atticus Finch. Shelley lives in beautiful Nelson and has a stall at the Nelson Markets every Saturday. She also sells her works of art on Felt and on Etsy. You may remember Sadie wearing her rabbit ear cape here.
Shelley lovingly makes these beautiful pieces from recycled and vintage fabrics and adds her little twist with gorgeous and quirky embellishments.
These bonnets I spied on her Flickr stream and I couldn't resist. They almost tell a little story....

I didn't notice the little snail shell on her finger until I downloaded the photograph.
This is so her!

From these photographs you wouldn't believe that the country has been ravaged by a terrible storm over the past two days. We've had incredible thunder storms and gale force winds, but this afternoon we had a bit of reprieve and it was quite lovely. But right now I'm sitting inside listening to more thunder and the windows rattling in the wind. Charlie told me that when there is a storm you have to snuggle with your teddy bear and suck your thumb (which is what he's doing right now)
Oh, and by the way the winner of my 'Spring Rabbit Giveaway' is Kelly from Vintage Mum, Modern Child. Congratulations, Kelly! Enjoy...xx
