Seed heads

Our vegetable garden was taken over by myriads of poppies this summer.  I didn't have the heart to pull them out so we had a poppy garden for a few months.

Now they 're a sea of seed heads and it was time to claim my vegetable garden back.  We left some seed heads to do their job along with some vegetables plants that have gone to seed.  So pretty.

The wild cat that explores our garden wasn't too impressed with the clean up.
