Sadie turns ten

 

Winter holiday

We just came home from a few days playing in the snow.  We aren't a skiing family, but the kids had a list of things they wanted to do.

1. Throw a snowball
2. Make a snowman
3. Touch a icicle
4. Ride in a ski lift
5. Make a snow angel
6. Eat snow

All the above have been checked off.

Mad for toadstools

 

Sadie and I have gone a bit mad for toadstools today.

We went out specifically to hunt some down.

We climbed fences, laid in wet grass and I tore my leggings to get a few great shots

The start of Sadie's big day.

In the new year Sadie was honoured to be her cousins flower girl at the first family wedding in 13 years.

She started the day with her favourite breakfast.

 

Mid morning I received an update photo from the bride to be.

Hairstylist at work.

 

It was officially her best day ever.

When I take photographs of the children I try to stand back and just let them be. 

I didn't know what Hugo was picking up and giving to Sadie until the end.  He thought they were caterpillars!
