The elderflowers are blooming, so that means cordial time again.
Every year I think to myself I need to make than what I do.
The children love it as so do we, so refreshing on a hot afternoon.
We also made some borage ice cubes, borage is very refreshing, almost with a flavour of cucumber and of course it's so pretty.

It's an exciting time of the year, you can feel and see the blur of seasons where winter is still present but the push of spring is making itself present.

Finally I got the opportunity to take the children up to the top of the hill to experience some snow.
It wasn't a heavy fall but there was enough to get wet, cold and throw some snow balls at each other.
Oscar wasn't too impressed with being wet and cold and he slipped over a few times, but the others loved it.

Though winter is well and truly still here, spring is forcing it's way through.
Our blossom tree is flowering, early daffodils are blooming and there are plenty of lambs to see in the fields.
